Meet Erika

Erika spent most of her childhood and early adult life channeling her love for humanity and the arts through theatre. During her MFA Acting training in 2009, she came into deep and powerful connection with the Alexander Technique. It was then that her passion for self-care and healing quickly evolved into the desire to cultivate a career in the healing arts (as well as the performing arts).
In the subsequent years, Erika deepened her knowledge and exploration of the Alexander Technique, and in May of 2018 received her advanced certification in CranioSacral Therapy from Dr. Ron Wish at the Great River CranioSacral Therapy Institute. Erika’s training with Dr. Wish includes SomatoEmotional Release, Guided Imagery, and Energy Cyst Release. She also completed supplemental CST training in Guatemala and NYC.
In 2019, Erika completed her first round of training in Thai Bodywork with Ananda Apfelbaum. Due to the pandemic, she was unable to coninue training, however it has greatly enhanced and influenced her work.
Erika also believes strongly in the benefits of meditation, aromatherapy and environmental detoxification. She encourages intentional dietary choices, clean health and beauty products, essential oils, and more.
With over 15 years of combined experience, Erika has cultivated skills as an empathic and intuitive practitioner. Her mission is to empower people to live vibrant, healthy lives. Her practice encourages the mind, body, and spirit to maximize the extraordinary mechanics of the body’s own on-board health care systems.
